The Maryland Forest Service and Division of Environmental Management is offering a free set of workshops for citizens about backyard buffers and wetlands on Saturday, April 1 at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center.

“Wonderful Wetlands” workshop will be held at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center on April 1. The workshop will include several sessions, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Workshops will include sessions on wetland ecology, wetland restoration, living alongside beavers, building a stream buffer, stormwater and tree-planting.
