Debra Lynn Chapman, 68, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. died on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at her home.
Born June 26, 1957 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Stanley Leo “Duke” and Phyllis Lorraine McBee Cain.
Debra was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
She was employed as a CNA and worked in private care. Debra was a homemaker to her husband, children and grandchildren.
She loved gardening, crafts, cooking and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband of 37 years, Darius Dale “O’Dar” Chapman, at home, she is survived by four daughters, April Mae Chapman and Heidi Elaine Chapman, both of Taos, N.M., Rebecca Lea Cain of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and Rachel Ann Chapman of Great Cacapon, W.Va., one son, Charles Wellington Camden Chapman of Martinsburg, W.Va., one brother, Brian Dale Cain of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and seven grandchildren, Courtney, James, Maple, T.J., Brock, Arthur and Eira.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tye Lee Cain.
Arrangements are being handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV.
