There will be ghouls, princesses, superheroes, and other characters hitting the streets on Friday, October 28, in Hancock.
Hancock town officials set Trick or Treat night for Friday, October 28, from 6 until 8 p.m.
Trick or Treat is usually held near the holiday and that Friday is the closest to Halloween when kids don’ t have to go to school the next day. Halloween falls on a Monday this year.
Mayor Tim Smith said that is one thing people look at when deciding when Trick or Treat falls in Hancock.
This would be the door to door Trick or Treat, Smith added, and there could be trunk or treat held the same night.
Officer Shawn Faith said there could be enough coverage with Hancock Police in the area along with fire police and fire department to help as well.
