The travel plaza at the east end of town is slowly coming along with the Burger King taking form and the convenience store that will hold the Little Caesar’s and IHOP getting more attention. BFS officials said they don’t have an opening date yet. The company said they have changed contractors for the project but didn’t provide additional details. Washington County permit records indicate that Western Maryland Plumbing & Heating LLC of Big Pool received a commercial plumbing permit to complete above-ground rough-in piping and fixtures for the Burger King, IHOP, Little Ceasars and the BFS store.
