Clifford “Boone” Kenneth Keefer
1959-2026
Clifford “Boone” Kenneth Keefer, 66 of Hancock, Md., went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 2, 2026, at Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown, Md.
Born November 9, 1959, in McConnellsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Albert B. Keefer and Reba H. Weller Keefer.
Boone was a concrete finisher for his family business for forty-four years. He retired in 2021 and enjoyed helping others and riding his red scooter.
He loved playing cards, fishing, cooking, the Baltimore Orioles, hunting, gardening, Sudoku and spoiling his family. He always had a smile and gave great hugs.
He had a huge circle of friends and enjoyed attending Orchard Ridge First Church of God.
He was a 1978 graduate of Hancock High School.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Sandra “Dee” Schetrompf Keefer; son Daniel Paul (Shelby) Keefer; daughter Jodi Renee (Eric) McGrath; six brothers, Delmas (Peggy) Keefer, Richard (Linda) Keefer, George (Althea) Keefer, Gary (Cindy) Keefer, Mac Keefer and Wayne Keefer; five sisters, Rebecca Shoemaker, Donna (Allen) Mason, Deb Gordon, Patricia (Chris) Morris and Lesa (Mark) Exline; five grandchildren, Olivia Keefer, Nicholas Keefer, Ava Keefer, Nora McGrath and Quinn McGrath; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Hancock Church of God, 7528 Millstone Road, Hancock, Md., with three-hour prior visitation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Pastor Jeff Hawbaker officiated. Burial followed at Stonebridge Church.
Arrangements were entrusted to Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, MD 21750.
