Douglas Michael Hillgren
1963-2025
Douglas Michael Hillgren, 62, of Charles Town, W.Va., died on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born July 24, 1963 in Lincoln, Neb., he was the son of the late Vaughn Galen Hillgren and Shirley Elizabeth Reinsch Hillgren.
Douglas earned a Bachelor’s Degree and was a principal technical solutions manager with Blackberry.
He loved playing guitar and entertaining family and friends and loved to travel. He was a devoted son and a wonderful father, grandfather and brother.
In addition to his mother, Douglas is survived by one son, Joseph A. Hillgren and his wife, Amber; one daughter, Amy Snedaker and her husband, Mike; three sisters, Anne Hatley, Mary Spinks and Dawn Harrison; one brother, John Hillgren and four grandchildren, Gage, Bryan, Emily and Zachary and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
