The Hancock Panthers girls’ volleyball team will serve up their 2023-24 season opener at home next Wednesday, September 6 when they host the Goretti High School Gaels of Hagerstown.
Junior varsity match starts at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity match is at 7 p.m. in the Hancock Middle Senior High School gym.
The Lady Panthers hosted scrimmage matches at home on Saturday, August 19 with Bishop Walsh High School, Calvary Christian Academy, and Paw Paw High School.
“Great scrimmages today, ladies. So proud of all of you,” said the team’ s new head coach Christi Mosier in a post on social media following the scrimmage matches.
Mosier is a 2000 graduate of Hancock Middle Senior High School, and is an experienced volleyball player.
Applications are still being accepted at the school for an assistant coach.
