Fire officials from the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a fire at a shed in Big Pool in the early morning hours of February 11.
According to the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the fire was reported at 1:27 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, in the 13000 block of Pecktonville Road in Big Pool.
The first was in an outbuilding with some parts open with a metal roof, fire officials said in a release.
Fire officials said the origin of the fire was inside the shed.
It took firefighters from Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Department about five minutes to get the fire under control.
The fire, which was discovered by the resident, caused an estimated $5,000 in damages.
