The King starts serving in Hancock

by Geoff Fox

Almost three weeks after the BFS convenience store and Little Caesars opened at the new Hancock Travel Plaza, a third part of the plaza’s overall offerings has opened its doors.

Burger King officially opened its doors at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, with the first order being a Whopper.

The inside has a sleek modern look with brick and wood paneling, illuminated with hanging lights.

While Little Caesars, Burger King, and convenience store are open, IHOP is still awaiting its debut.

“Our construction team is not able to set a date for our IHOP opening yet,” Hayley Graham, Director of Marketing for BFS, told The Hancock News last week.

Folks were ordering and enjoying their favorite sandwich from Burger King’s menu as the fast food chain opened last Thursday, January 26.
