McConnellsburg Car Show set for July 2

The McConnellsburg Alumni & Friends Association will be holding its 12th Annual Car Show on Saturday, July 2 at the McConnellsburg Alumni Community Building parking lot at 151 East Cherry Street, McConnellsburg, Pa.

Registration for the show will open at 8 a.m. and close at 11:30 a.m. Entries are welcome for cars, trucks, big rigs, tractors, and mostly anything on wheels. There is a registration fee. Sixty trophies will be awarded.

This year’s show will honor John Allen Kelso and Wayne MacDonald, local car enthusiasts.

The event will include music, food, silent and Chinese auctions, vendors, plus air conditioning inside. So far, vendors include those selling Pink Zebra, Handmade items, Timber Ridge Designs, Farmhouse signs, Tye Dye Shirts, Tumblers, Gnomes, sock, T’s, Mary K,

Wreaths, Plaques, NEORA, Anita’ s Country Scents & Suds, Boost Mobile & more. Vendors are still needed, so anyone interested can call Kathy Kendall at 717-377-3643.

Top 50 trophies will be awarded in two classes. Top nine will be judged by professional judges, plus a presidential award will be given.

Everyone is welcome to view the show at no charge. The show will be held rain or shine. All proceeds will be used for the upkeep of the McConnellsburg Alumni Community Building.
