by Geoff Fox

About 50 cars filled Widmeyer Park for the Hancock in Motion “Hancock Hometown Cruisin” last Sunday, June 19. The car show was fun for those big and small and the weather was clear and breezy for those who came out to enjoy the displays.

There were prizes handed out for the cars that came in, a power wheels race for the youngsters, and a fundraiser for Bobby Bigler.

The fundraiser raised over $600 with Ray Givens donating his winnings of $101 from the 50/50 drawing back to the pot. There was another $100 donated as well.

Rebecca Sheeder, President of Hancock in Motion, said the community is small, but it holds such loving hearts.
