A long-awaited splash pad is nearing reality. Hancock Town Manager Mike Faith said the tentative date for construction to start on it should be in about two weeks.
Once construction starts, two crews will be working seven days a week to get the splash pad expedited, Faith said. Local contractors will be used when needed, he added.
The longest part of the construction process would be when contractors pour the concrete pad.…
