As the summer season is just getting under way, that means National Night Out is just around the corner.

The annual community event will take place on Tuesday, August 4, beginning at 6 p.m. in Widmeyer Park. As always, the night of fun and activity is a free event.

As National Night Out approaches, the Town of Hancock is seeking businesses, non-profits, churches, and organizations to have a space at the park.

If your group or organization is interested in a space in the park, email [email protected] or call 301-678-5622 during business hours of 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In the email, include the name of the organization or business and what is being planned to be offered at the event.

Deadline for space requests is July 22.
