Washington County Government will hold a Free Mulch Giveaway at Forty West Landfill beginning Wednesday, May 28. This limited-time offer comes as a result of the recent storms that brought in a high volume of yard debris, resulting in an overabundance of mulch on site. 
To help manage space and put this valuable material to good use, residents of Washington County are invited to pick up free mulch while supplies last. The giveaway is expected to continue for at least two to three weeks—or until the current stockpile is depleted.
