Hancock didn’t have to wait very long for the first snowfall of this season as the white stuff (mixed with freezing rain) fell on the area on Sunday, December 15.
The first snow of last winter didn’t happen until January 6, 2024.
Around an inch or two of snow, along with ice and rain, fell throughout the day Sunday leading to a number of wrecks on Interstate 68 and Interstate 70.
