Washington County voters back GOP candidates against state tide, opt against incumbents on BOE

Washington County voters bucked the trend of Maryland voters who backed Vice President Kamala Harris by 61%. County voters flipped that script, casting 60.6% of their ballots for Donald Trump in the 2024 General Election. The U.S. split the difference, narrowly electing Trump to a second term in office.
