Edith P. Cave
1942-2026
Edith P. “Edie” Cave, age 84, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. died on Monday, November 2, 2026 at War Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born March 22, 1942 in Hancock, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Floyd Daniel and Pauline Ruth Unger Youngblood.
Edie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School. She worked in retail sales.
Edie was a Past Matron of Berkeley Chapter #77 Order of the Eastern Star.
Edie is survived by her children, Brian Allen Cave, Virginia Beach, Va., Michael Andrew Cave, Winchester, Va. and Angela Lynn Poole, The Villages, Fla.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Lea Lane; three sisters, Martha Ann Youngblood, Eileen Miller and Irene Doyle and one brother, Vernon Youngblood.
A memorial service will be condition by the Eastern Star at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
