Panthers softball ends regular season on two game skid, fall in playoffs

The Hancock Panthers softball team ended their season last Monday, May 4, in a game just up Interstate 70 in Warfordsburg against the Southern Fulton Indians where they fell 7-3. The season came to an end last Thursday, May 7, against Mountain Ridge when the ladies fell 10-0 to the Miners.

Madison Trumpower went 1-1 with two walks and a run scored for the Panthers. Makensie Boyer was 2-4 with a run scored, Sydney True was 204 with a double and an RBI, Makayla Sexton was 1-3, Kerrie Martinez added an RBI, and Kaybree Sounders scored a run.

Taylor Weller went the full seven innings for the Panthers giving up seven runs on seven hits while striking out two Indians.

There were no stats available on Max Preps for the playoff game against Mountain Ridge.
