It’s officially fall because the St. Peter’s Ladies Group at St. Peter’s Catholic Church were busy making their famous apple dumplings last week. The dumplings were on sale and Thursday through Saturday, or until sold out, as singles or in a pan in the church hall. Baking of the apple dumplings began last Wednesday with 754 being made, and 238 more as of noon Thursday. Over the course of the last 30+ years, the church bakers have sold out of apple dumplings every year.
