String Band to play for free concert & dance Sunday

Dust off you dancing boots and join the Hancock Arts Council for a free square dance on Sunday, July 13 at 2 p.m. in the Hancock Performing Arts Center at Town Hall 126 W High Street, Hancock.  Live music will be provided by the Wind Dance String Band and light refreshments will be available.

Musicians, John Devine, fiddle, Tim Smith, guitar, Sam Ellis, upright bass, & Ashton Cole, banjo, will play traditional dance tunes while Leslie Devine-Milbourne calls the moves to circle, square, and long line community dances.  Community fun for all!  Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of live music and dance! Sponsored by Hancock Arts Council and the Interfaith Service Coalition.

All ages welcomed. If you don’t feel like dancing just tap your foot and watch the fun. For more information, contact Sinclair Hamilton at 240-310-3537.
