The Washington County Board of County Commissioners lifted the countywide burn ban on Friday, April 4.
The ban, which was enacted due to dry conditions and an increased risk of wildfires, is no longer necessary following recent rainfall and improved environmental conditions. Residents may now resume open-air burning in compliance with local and state regulations.
