Hancock’ s 2nd Annual Festival of Trees is returning this December. It will be hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7, from 4 to 8p.m. at 200 Douglas Street.
The event is free for the public.
In addition to the trees there will be nativity displays, Kids Corner with activities, picture booth for selfies, Christmas video, free refreshments, and the Family History Center will be open. All who attend will be able to vote for their favorite trees.
Local businesses, non-profit organizations, clubs and families can register to bring and decorate an artificial tree to share their mission or loved one’s memory. Deadline to register is November 27.
Sign up online by emailing Wendy Weller, event organizer, at [email protected] and a registration form will be emailed to you. Set up for the event is scheduled for December 2-5. Times will be determined at a later date.
