Town crews were putting up the pine tree in Joseph Hancock Park on Friday afternoon, November 22, and getting it ready for this coming Saturday night, November 30, when it will be lit up as part of Miracle on Main. The tree, along with another in the small pavilion in Widmeyer Park, were purchased by the town from Cherry Run Christmas Tree Farm outside of Hancock for $500.
