County schools ask families to complete survey about academics & support

Hancock Middle-Senior High School is urging all parents and guardians to participate in the Washington County Public Schools District Engagement Survey. A link would have been sent via email.

The survey provides invaluable insights into the needs and priorities of the school community, said school officials.

“By completing the survey, you’re helping to shape the future of the schools and responses will inform the development of programs, services, and resources that directly address the challenges and opportunities facing students and families.” the district told families.

Parent or guardian input means targeted support, improved services, and stronger partnerships.

Feedback will help school officials identify specific areas where they can provide additional support, such as academic assistance, after school programs, or mental health resources.

“Insights will contribute to the enhancement of existing programs and the creation of new initiatives that better meet the needs of the community,” the county district says.

School officials say that the survey will help them understand priorities and foster

stronger partnerships with local organizations and businesses.

The survey is confidential, but respondents will be able to select the school of a child.

If families have multiple children, they should have gotten an email for each child.

Hancock Middle-Senior High School officials ask families to take the time to fill out the survey for that school as the information will be used for their Community Schools data.
