Civil War historian to give free talk at Hancock Town Hall

On Sunday, July 28 at 2 p.m., area Civil War historian Steve French will present a talk to the Hancock Historical Society entitled “The Pursuit and Defeat of McCausland’  Raiders — Aftermath of the Burning of Chambersburg.”

The event is to be held at Hancock Town Hall 126 W. High Street, Hancock.

French’s lecture which will focus on the Rebels threat to burn Hancock. The event is free and open to the public.
