Town Manager Mike Faith said a water softener needs to be hooked up as well and a new water line to the pad. He said there could possibly be a new sewer line installed so the water can be discharged into the town’s public sewer system, which won’t effect the sewer plant due to the small amount the splashpad would discharge.
The goal is to have everything done in the next three weeks. Once the concrete is completely cured, it will be coated and the remaining water features will be added. The goal is to have the splashpad open around August 6 and National Night Out.
