New HPD vehicle on the road

The first of five new 2024 Ford Interceptors for the Hancock Police Department is on the streets of Hancock. The Interceptors are fitted and made specifically for the Hancock Police with various lights on different areas of the vehicle, spot lights and alley lights, safety equipment inside, computer and mounts, and radios. Sgt. Shawn Faith said the new vehicles have been in operation for a little over a week. Four more Interceptors are still being produced for the police department and will arrive as they are done. As they come in, the Town of Hancock and Hancock Police Department will remove vehicles from the current fleet. Each of the five officers with the police department will have his own vehicle.
