Allegany College of Maryland will hold a summer open house and a student housing preview on Monday, July 15, at its Cumberland campus. Prospective students and their guests may attend one or both events. Registration is required and available online at www.allegany.edu/openhouse.
Sign in for the open house begins at 9 a.m. in Allegany College of Maryland’s Thomas Welcome Center where prospective students will have the chance to win $500 off their tuition. After a brief welcome at 9:45 a.m., attendees will leave with their guides for walking tours of the college. Tours are based on their area of interest so they can meet their program directors or instructors. 
During the tours, attendees will learn how the college can support their success. If Allegany College of Maryland is the fit for them, prospective students can apply and register that day for fall classes. It’s always free to apply to Allegany College of Maryland.
Allegany College of Maryland is one of the rare two-year colleges to offer on-campus student housing.
Prospective students and their guests can register for in-depth tours of Willowbrook Woods student housing community. Four tour times are offered at 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The tours depart from the courtyard at Willowbrook Woods, which is located off of Old Willowbrook Lane.
Willowbrook Woods apartments are partially furnished four-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments with a full kitchen and common living area.
