The first of the water features, six rings, have been installed at the new splash pad. Town Manager Mike Faith said drains and spouts have also been installed as has sand for better compaction. Concrete has also been poured, but it’s not the final one. Once the rest of the work is done, the final concrete will be poured. Faith said he isn’t sure when that will take place. Faith did say there will be a concrete sidewalk from the bath house to the splash pad to be ADA compliant. While it’s not set in stone, Faith said there could possibly be decorative lights installed around the splash pad.
