Voters take to precincts to close out Presidential Primary

Voters in Hancock headed to Hancock Middle-Senior High School yesterday, Tuesday, May 14, to cast their ballots in the Maryland primary election. Totals weren’t available at press time and will appear next week.

Washington County voters who hadn’t yet cast ballots during early voting days were heading to the county’s precinct polling places on Tuesday, May 14.

Voters are picking party nominees for political offices from U.S. President to state and county offices and non-partisan candidates for the Washington County Board of Education. Polls remained open until 8 p.m.

Election results will be shared online on the county’s election center as they become available, and reported on The Hancock News website – www.thehancocknews.com.
