Two Needmore women were uninjured in a February 19 crash on Thompson Road.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred just before 4 p.m. on Monday, February 19, in the 400 block of Thompson Road in Needmore.
Police said the crash occurred as a 2007 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Peggy Harvey, 64, of Needmore, was trying to negotiate a left-hand curve while traveling north on Thompson Road.
The Impala failed to negotiate the curve and began to leave the lane of travel and swerved across the left-hand lane and spun around.
The front right of the car then struck a guide rail on the opposite lane of travel and came to a final rest in the southbound lane of Thompson Road, facing south.
Police said the car sustained disabling damage to the right front and was towed by Roland’s Garage and Towing.
Both Harvey and her passenger, Dora D. Pinder, 62, of Needmore, were not injured in the crash and had been wearing their seatbelts.
