Woman injured in I-70 rollover

A State College woman suffered a suspected minor injury in a vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in the Warfordsburg area on February 4.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, a 2006 Toyota Camry driven by Nouf Haldi, 26, of State College, Pa., was traveling west in the right lane on Sunday, February 4, near the Pennsylvania and Maryland border when she lost control of the car.

Police said the Camry traveled off the north berm of I-70 west and rotated approximately 90 degrees counterclockwise before overturning one and a half times and coming to rest on its roof facing south.

Haldi sustained minor injuries and transported by Needmore Volunteer Fire Company and Ambulance Service to War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs. Haldi was wearing a lap and shoulder belt, police said.

Needmore Fire, EMS, and Bards Towing assisted at the scene.
