Lady Panthers fall to Faith & Hundred

The Hancock girls varsity basketball team came out of a busy week on the court with two close losses, falling to Faith Christian Academy on Thursday, February 8, 38-35 and then to the Hundred Hornets on Saturday, February 10, 43-38. Senior Skylar Smith was the top scorer against Faith Christian, putting up 13 points for the Panthers, followed closely by Senior Keelyn Seal, who added 11 points against the Falcons.

Smith kept her top shooter status against the Hundred Hornets, sinking 11 points for the Panthers, with Seal close behind, adding 9 points. Senior Amy Davis put eight points on the board for Hancock against Hundred.

The Lady Panthers were set to travel to Calvary Christian Academy on Tuesday, but snowy weather could be an issue with that match-up. They will host Forbes Road on Thursday, February 15 and travel to Union on Friday, February 16.
