Hancock man found guilty of reckless endangerment, appealing judgment

A Hancock man was found guilty in October for reckless endangerment and is now in the process of appealing that rendering.

Gary Allan Godlove, 28, was accused of throwing objects at moving vehicles in the Clear Spring area last January.

According to court documents provided to The Hancock News, Godlove was scheduled for an initial appearance hearing on December 4. That hearing was canceled.

A new de novo appeal trial, meaning the trial will be held in the Circuit Court and new evidence can be brought forth, is scheduled for February 26, 2024.
