Hancock High held its eighth annual alumni reunion on Saturday, August 26 at the Cacapon Resort State Park Lodge, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. A social was held for all attendees and graduates with 50 or more years since a student in school. A social gathering, along with individual class pictures and a group photo were taken, followed by dinner in the Washington/Fairfax room.
Bob McCarty was the emcee for the evening program. He introduced the newest inductees into the group, the Class of 1973. Also, recognition was given to this year’s honorary alumnus, Dave Creek, and honorary teacher, Walter “Lefty” Lee, who was eulogized by his daughter, Lex Fry.
The next alumni reunion will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Cacapon Resort State Park Lodge, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Invitations will be mailed out in May.
