John Maloney of Columbia, Maryland, stopped on his way to Sideling Hill Creek State Park to get a few shots along the Potomac River covered in a thick blanket of fog Thursday morn- ing, October 19. The US 522 bridge was not visible from the boat ramp and the island had an eerie look to it with the fog on the river.
