It’s a good thing Burger King doesn’t offer turkey burgers on its menu as this turkey has been hanging around the Burger King, BFS truck plaza, and CNB area recently and has become sort of a mascot for that part of town. There have been numerous pictures of the bird on social media, including one of the turkey on a person’s car. The turkey has been known to eat French fires from people’s hand and al- lowing them to pet it. The fun is coming to a close, though, as the DNR has been contacted which has made and is still making attempts to catch and to relocate the bird for its safety and well being.
