Hancock Panthers made their best showing so far this season in Friday’s home non- conference play against the Clay-Battelle Cee Bees from Blacksville, W.Va.
Clay-Battelle cinched the game 38-26 but not without major work by the Panthers to earn a home win on September 29. Hancock’s varsity team rolled up 26 points – their best single-game scoring so far this fall.
On Saturday, September 23, the Panthers travelled to Shenandoah, Pa. The Blue Devils wielded their home field advantage to take a 47-6 win over Hancock in non-conference play.
Hancock is 0-4 at this point in the season, with four more games to go.
The Panthers will travel to Northern Garrett High School to face off against the Huskies this Thursday, October 5, with kick-off at 7 p.m.
