A Hancock tradition will once again hit the streets as the Hancock Rotary will be hosting their annual Halloween Parade on Wednesday, October 25, at 7 p.m. along Main Street.
The parade is sponsored by the Rotary Club and financed by the businesses and organizations of the Hancock area.
The parade begins at Widmeyer Park and ends at the Tri-Angle Restaurant.
Organizers said costumed marchers would be judged at the park entrance with awards coming at 6:30 p.m.
The parade is set to feature area bands, marching units, Halloween floats, antique autos, schools and civic organizations, local businesses of the Tri-State area, and costumed marchers of all ages.
The Rotary Hancock Foundation welcomes all interested people to participate, whether as a member of an organization or as individual costumed marchers, competing for cash prizes.
Cash prizes will be awarded for bands, floats, drill teams, color guards, antique/classic autos, and marching organizations.
All entries must submit an entry form. Information may be obtained by calling Autumn Williamson at 443-532-4084 or by email at [email protected].
The deadline for entries is Friday, October 20.
The rain date will be Thursday, October 26, at 7 p.m.
