Hancock Middle-Senior High School will be holding their first food pantry of the year on Tuesday, September 19, at 3:45 p.m.
The food pantry is held on the third Tuesday of each month through May in the school cafeteria.
Those who attend the food pantry can arrive whenever they want but are reminded to wait in their vehicles until the buses have pulled out of the school’s parking lot. Once the buses have left, folks can begin lining up at the cafeteria doors.
The food pantry at Hancock Middle-Senior High School comes from a monthly donation from the Maryland Food Bank, which makes the food pantry possible.
The food available varies from month to month and while people are “shopping” for items they need, the school does ask people to be mindful of others while at the food pantry.
College Fair
The Washington County College Fair will be held Wednesday, October 11, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the ARCC at Hagerstown Community College.
This is an opportunity for students to explore information about different colleges.
Tri-State College Night Event
The 2023 Tri-State College Night Event will be held on Tuesday, October 10, from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Allegany College of Maryland Gymnasium on the Cumberland Campus.
There will be over 50 institutions for students to explore different colleges and programs.
