The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is sponsoring a free public program in Morgan County on Thursday, August 24 at 6 p.m. at the Morgan County Board of Education Center, 247 Harrison Ave., Berkeley Springs.
Jeff Feldman will be presenting “Land Trusts: Conserving Land, Water & Open Space -Forever” on behalf of the Land Trust of the Eastern Panhandle.
Join representatives of the Land Trust of the Eastern Panhandle and the Cacapon & Lost Rivers Land Trust for an exploration of what land trusts are, how they work, and the value they offer. Whether you’re a landowner curious about conservation easements, someone engaged in the protection of natural and historic resources, or simply one who values open space and the preservation of land, bring your interest, your questions, and your perspective to this discussion of land trusts.
