On April 17, residents of Hancock elected Roland Lanehart, Jr. as the new mayor, Joshua McCusker and Richard Strong to town council.
Next Monday, May 8, the three newly-elected officials will be sworn in to begin their term.
The swearing in ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. Monday evening in Town Hall.
The following evening, Tuesday, May 9, officials will hold their annual budget meeting at 7 p.m. A workshop for town officials will be held prior to the meeting at 6 p.m.
The workshop is open to the public, but unlike the regular meeting, the public has no input and officials can take no decisions.
