Hancock High School’s co-ed varsity outdoor track and field team competed in two regional invitational events last week.
On Wednesday, April 12 the Panthers traveled to Hagerstown Community College for a varsity meet against three other Maryland high schools.
Freshman Emalee Chewning placed sixth in the girls’ 200-meter race. Freshman Eamon Faith finished seventh in the boys’ 400-meter race.
The Panthers came in second in the girls 4×100 relay race.
Senior Josie Foltz won first place in the shot put and discus events.
Senior Aidan Faith won first place in the long jump and the triple jump events.
Then on Saturday, April 15 the Panthers traveled to Cumberland to compete against 10 other teams from three different states in the Fort Hill invitational at Fort Hill High School.
