Panther pride at Berkeley Springs outdoor track and field event

The Hancock Panthers outdoor track and field team was represented at a quad event held at Berkeley Springs High School on Wednesday, April 5.

Junior Waylon Leach took second place in the shot put event with a distance of 38’ 7”. Sophomore Brody Stratton placed fourth, putting 34’7”.

Leach placed fifth in discus with a distance of 90’5”.

Senior Aiden Faith won the long jump event with a height of 16’ 6”. She also won the high jump event with a jump of 4’10”.

Senior Josie Foltz won the discus event, placing first at 85’5”.

Foltz also won first in shot put, with a distance of 30’3”. The next meet is today, Wednesday, April 12 at Hagerstown Community College.
