Join Susi Cora and the Hancock Arts Council for an artists’ reception this Saturday, April 8 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 41 West Main St. in Hancock.
The new gallery, “41 West,” opened by Susi Cora is part of an art renaissance in Hancock as another artist from the Washington, D.C. area will open a studio next to “41 West”.
The show features works by members of the Hancock Arts Council: Susi Cora, Mike Kligerman, Susan Lothers and Sinclair Hamilton. The show has paintings and sculpture with images of flowers, cats, chickens, landscapes and a series of small polychromatic busts. It is a perfect show for spring, colorful and lively.
Susi Cora, 41 West owner and resident artist, said that she was excited to have these works by members of the Hancock Arts Council at the Gallery.
The Gallery features art installations throughout the year, ceramic housewares, sculpture, and offers arts workshops and hosts private events as requested. This summer the Gallery will be excited to host bridal parties for champagne and ceramic making fun.
