As part of their continuing hike series, the C&O Canal Association will lead a casual out-and-back hike on the C&O Canal National Historic Park towpath at Oldtown (Route 51, Oldtown Cemetery Road, Opessa Street) on Sunday, March 26. The hike will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Lock 70 parking area on Green Spring Road and will return around 2:30 p.m. The low water bridge and other historic crossings of the Potomac River will be investigated.
The hike will occur rain or shine. Dress for the weather and take lunch or a snack.
