A Maryland man and his wife were sentenced recently for conspiracy to communicate Restricted Data related to the design of nuclear-powered warships.
Jonathan Toebbe, 44, of Annapolis, was sentenced to 19 years and four months of incarceration and fined $45,700. His wife, Diana Toebbe, 46, was sentenced to 21 years and 10 months of incarceration and fined $50,000. The Toebbes pleaded guilty to the conspiracy in August 2022.
