Town officials will be holding a special town meeting followed by a workshop tomorrow evening, July 28, at 6 p.m. in the Hancock Town Hall and Community Center.
The special meeting will be to vote on appointing a new councilperson to fill the seat vacated by Mike Faith after he resigned to take the job as town manager. There will also be a discussion about an Emergency Public Works replacement purchase during the meeting.
After the special meeting, town officials will enter into a workshop where they will be discussing Lanco Pennland and other possible topics.
Both meetings are open to the public. During the workshop, however, town officials cannot make decisions or vote on issues. While it is a public meeting, there is no citizen comment period.
