Marylanders head to the polls

Maryland voters were heading to their polling places on Tuesday morning, July 19, in the gubernatorial primary election. Locally, voters are voting for Washington County Commissioners, Washington County Sheriff, and Washington County Board of Education among others. There are also state races for senate and delegate up for election. Results were not known as of publication and will run in next week’s Hancock News.
