Lori Roberta Yost, age 52, of Elkton, Va., and Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Elkton, Va.
Born January 1, 1970 in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Ersel Leroy and Norma Jean Munson Yost.
She was a Presbyterian.
She was a 1988 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and completed one year of college.
Lori first worked as a caregiver at Nikki’s Daycare in Berkeley Springs and had worked, for the past 15 years, as an adult care coordinator with ARC in Harrisonburg, Va.
She had been a member of Ladies of the Moose Chapter #1311 and was active with the Hancock and Berkeley Springs Jaycees. Lori was an active participant with the Relay for Life.
She loved yard sales and long rides in the countryside, especially along the Skyline Drive.
She is survived by her siblings, Keith Leroy Yost and his wife Robin and Nancy Jean Yost, all of Berkeley Springs; three nieces, Maggie Elizabeth Yost, of Lyman, Colo., Hannah Jean Yost, of East Lansing, Mich., and Haley Jean Barnhart, of Berkeley Springs and her long-time companion, Michael Paul McBee of Elkton.
Funeral services were conducted at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., with the Rev. Dr. Alexa Smith officiating. Private interment was in the Black Oak Mennonite Church Cemetery, Fulton County, Pa.
